Chico Photography- Cassy and Buddy Expecting Baby Girl, Nevaeh!

Here they are, I have worked up my favorite images from the Maternity shoot last Friday. Again, the shoot was done at 1-mile park of Bidwell Park, in Chico, CA. This shoot was a lot of fun for me. Cassy and Buddy were very excited and worked well with me. All of the images were shot with a 2.8 70-200 Canon Lens. And of course the post processing was done in Lightroom, and Photoshop.

Lets Start with two of the Beautiful Mommy to be!!

Chico Wedding Photography- Ready Set "Lets tie the Knot"

Nicole and Russel's wedding pics. What this wedding was for me was an opportunity to set people into poses with a very limited time frame. There was no wedding schedule for this wedding and I was just assisting a friend. SO what this did for me was test my ability to work under pressure. Here are the majority of my favorite shots. I might have more for later, but for now here they are.

Chico Wedding Photography- Nicole and Russel's Big Day

This last Sunday, I helped a friend with a wedding in Oroville, Ca. The wedding was at the Oroville Golf and Country Club. I had never shot a wedding there before and was a little unsure as to what to expect. I was very happy with the results. There was a beautiful sunset just after the ceremony, which gave us the opportunity to shoot the "Romantics" under a bright orange sunset. Here, as usual, is a Tease to the Big Day. Full coverage to come soon! Enjoy!

Chico Pet Portrait Photography- Puppy Love

How do you shoot 7 cute puppies? With a whole lot of luck, that's how. I spent about an hour trying to take these little guys photos. They were little balls of fire, trying to get away from the camera. Finally as I was about to give up, they all settled down and started to go to sleep. These images were not shot in the Studio. They were done at the clients house. The lighting consisted of a window light on the left, a reflector behind the puppies picking up light from the window, and a fill flash bouncing off of the reflector. I then in Photoshop had to drop out the background to make a consistent look with all the other dogs. Enjoy!

Chico Pet Portrait Photography- chihuahua LOVE

So, after many hours of removing the lint and fur from the fabric I shot these little guys on, I am finally happy with the images. 11 of these images will be put into a calendar for my clients. The 12th month, if all works out, will be of the puppies and their momma. I am very excited to see these images printed out into one collection. So here they are, to all you chihuahua lovers out there...Enjoy!

Chico Pet Portrait Photography- Aye Chihuahua!

So as most of you know, I took the challenge of making a calendar for a very nice couple. Well the calender will consist of their 11 chihuahuas. Not my normal style, but still a learning lesson. This shoot was done in the studio and was a bit of a headache, but all in all it went very well. My wonderful roommate, Tara helped me on this one. She really knows her dogs, even the small ones. So here is the Tease I will have more on this shoot up soon.

This little fellow was one of their studs and he just loved the camera. I can't remember his name because there was 11 of them. But I did enjoy taking his pictures.
