Judy's Oroville, CA, Senior Prom Portrait Session

Just a few weekends ago I met with high school senior, Judy, at Feather River Nature Center in Oroville. I have photographed at this location several other times and I always find it to be a great place for a shoot. For this senior portrait session we started out with a few portraits of the graduate in a cute outfit then quickly did an outfit change into her prom dress. I was lucky enough to find a beautiful patch of yellow flowers along the river. This bright splash of color, along with the historical Table Mountain Bridge in the background, and the unique rock Bath House that is at the Nature Center, made for some fantastic photos. We really had picked the perfect location.

I am so happy that I had the privilege of photographing Judy's senior portraits. She came fully prepared and ready to model for her session. She looked gorgeous in her prom dress and even her dog, princess, joined us for some photos. Evan's Chico, CA. Senior Portrait Session

I had a blast photographing Evan for his Senior Portraits. We met in the afternoon at a favorite park of mine in Chico, Hooker Oak Park. Since Evan is baseball player the plan was to get some photos of him in his baseball jersey as well as some nice traditional portraits. I always love photographing at this park in Chico because it provides a variety of backdrops for me to work with. Once we were finished there, we knew we wanted to get some shots of Evan with his BMW M3. I thought the white car would look really cool along this blue corrugated steel door located in Downtown Chico. I was right and the rest of the session was a success.

Ashley & Drew's Classy Creative Session at Hotel Diamond in Chico, CA

Ashley really wanted to take additional photos of her fiance and her in their evening wedding attire. The session was perfectly scheduled on the same day she planned to do her trial hair run. She and her fiance, Drew, got all fancied up in their evening wedding attire. Drew was wearing a tux similar in style to the one he will be wearing on the day of the wedding. Ashley was wearing her "dancing dress," to be worn on the dance floor during the wedding reception - a trend that I love because it provides more variety in their wedding day photographs. She looked gorgeous in the Sue Wong dress and it was the perfect match for the fun creative session that we had planned.

Hotel Diamond was the perfect location for this couple's creative session. Romance was in the air the entire session and the two lovers looked amazing. I can not wait to capture their love on their wedding day. Here they are, my favorite images from the evening:
