PinIt!As Maggie and Alan's wedding date approached and the weather reports came out, we all prepared for a wet wedding with plastic baggies for the camera gear and umbrellas for the couple. While it did rain quite a bit, they had chosen a venue, Canyon Oaks Country Club, with both an indoor and outdoor options so it all worked out. Luckily, the rain stopped several times throughout the day which gave us just enough time to run outside for some outdoor shots, which is something the couple really wanted. Although foul weather can cause problems for any event, it can also bring amazing opportunities for some unique shots: like the rainbow that materialized just after the ceremony. It was a special moment for everyone to see the newlyweds kiss under the rainbow.
I had so much fun photographing this wedding day and we managed to stay dry while getting the bride and groom their outside photos. Congratulations to the newlyweds, Maggie & Alan. I am so excited to share your magical day!
