Eddie & Guadalupe Paoloa said their wedding vows on May 30th, 2014 at The Palms in Chico CA. Those who are not familiar with this venue, it provides a tropical-like setting with a fabulously landscaped yard, gazebos to keep cool, and fountains running all over the grounds. The venue also provides a reception hall with separate areas for each side of the bridal party to get ready. With an early afternoon ceremony we were planning on taking some photos before the ceremony but most would be after.
The ceremony was gorgeous, performed in both english and spanish for all to understand, and a unity candle was lit for the parents. Immediately after the ceremony, we photographed all the combinations of family and friends that we could think of. People just kept jumping into photos. Eddie and Paola were surrounded by many family and friends.
Once we finished all the formal photos, it was time for the Bridal Party to be introduced and the festivities to begin. The entire evening was jam packed with excitement. All your traditional events were there: the toasts, 1st dances, bouquet and garter toss, cake cutting, etc. In addition to that, the couple's families made them do the traditional dance, La Vibora. This was so exciting and all the guests really got involved. Also there was a traditional money dance, and all the money had to be pinned to the Grooms vest and then signed!
The entire day was filled with Love, Family, Friends, and Excitement. I really had so much fun photographing this amazing celebration of two people who love each other. Congratulations to the newlyweds and I hope you enjoy this glimpse into your special day.
