The Wedding of Ashley & Andrew - Chico Event Center

Since I first had the pleasure of photographing Ashley and Drew's engagement session, and then their classy creative session, my anticipation for their wedding day was growing rapidly. The retro theme, the professionally designed (by Ashley) invitations, the choice in getting-ready location, the stunning Hotel Diamond, and the venue, the newly renovated Chico Event Center, were all adding up to be nothing less than spectacular. In the end, their wedding day was everything I had thought it would be, and more.

The girls were stunning and the guys dapper, but the best part of the day had to be the thoughtful, fun, and creative details: the delicate white lilies found in the girl's bouquets and the guy's boutonnières; Ashley's wonderful handmade bouquet, containing meaningful keepsakes representing family and their relationship; a speckling of peacock blue in the ties, dresses, bouquets and throughout the venue, along with the peacock feathers in the groom's boutonnière and the flower girl's hairpieces; the fabulous pearls worn by the girls; the wooden wine box, designed by Ashley and deftly created by her uncle. Everything, and I mean everything, was well thought out and perfectly executed. With the help of all the vendors, it was truly a fantastic day filled with love and celebration.
