The wedding day of Jeff and Heather was gorgeous. An intimate ceremony, with only the couple's closest family members and friends in attendance, was held at a friend's house in Squaw Valley. The lush green backyard garden really complimented the couple's peacock theme.
The bride, Heather, was comfortable with getting ready outside with the help of a wood screen. This was an excellent idea! The sunlight was so beautiful on Heather as she was slipping into her wedding gown. Her lace gown, peacock hair piece, pearl necklace that delicately hung around her neck and draped over her back and succulent bouquet was the perfect combination of details. The screen also helped as a block for the bride and groom's "first look". The screen was a lot of fun to use for this moment and quickly after we were able to take some romantic images of the couple.
The couple read their vows under a tree in the garden, surrounded by their guests. Immediately after they were pronounced husband and wife, everyone gathered for a champagne toast and had a chance to enjoy each others company before heading to the reception. This allowed plenty of time to get some really fun photos of the bridal party. Jeff & Heather got their maid of honor and best man each a really unique gift: a small engraved pistol. These were so cool, we had to use them in a photo.
The newlyweds arrived at their reception greeted by over 100 guests ready to celebrate and congratulate them on the next journey of their lives. All the traditional events took place complete with a sparkler send off. Congratulations to Jeff & Heather, your day was so much fun to be a part of and you provided so many amazing moments for us to capture.
