PinIt!The wedding day of Kira & Travis was nothing short of stunning. The intimate venue that is the Lakeside Pavilion in Chico, CA was the perfect place for this couple to celebrate their love and say, "I do." Kira had her lovely ladies by her side, adorned in slightly different dresses to fit each one's style, and Travis's men looked so dapper in their suits with pink ties. Travis went with a bow-tie to be different from everyone else. Everyone looked amazing, but no one could compare to the beauty of the Bride!
To avoid what sometimes can be a stressful time during a wedding, Kira and Travis decided they wanted to do a "First Look" before the ceremony. Traditionally, the bride and groom, the family portraits, and the bridal party photos are taken after the ceremony, before dinner, which can often leave guests waiting for the wedding party to arrive. By opting to do a First Look, we were able to knock out almost all of these photos before the ceremony even started. This also allowed time for the bride and groom to mingle with their guests prior to sitting down for dinner.
The ceremony was gorgeous. Bride, Kira, was escorted by her brother and was a very touching a moment for all. The light pouring in through the trees and the cool breeze from the lake combined to make for a truly perfect moment for the couple to exchange their vows and rings.
