Justine & Branden are one of the lucky couples who took advantage of the Black Friday thru Cyber Monday Wedding Photography Sale I did last year. After talking with them via email and finally meeting at their engagement photo session, I was totally smitten with this couple. They are so cute together!
Their wedding was at a beautiful home North of Reno. I always love a backyard wedding, especially one that is for a couple who are so totally in love with each other. Surrounded with so many friends and family members, everyone came together to help make Branden & Justine's wedding day everything they imagined. The slightly more casual groomsmen were in their work boots and white t-shirts. Branden wore a tie, which was fun to see everyone attempt to tie. The ladies were all dressed in gowns to fit their style and body types. Justine looked stunning in her wedding gown! Plus her hair was locked in so tight with hairspray, the wind didn't even phase it. With touches of turquoise and handmade details everything was coming along gorgeous. However, being that Reno is high desert, you never know exactly what the weather will bring. The calm morning sky quickly turned into storm clouds. While they were empty of water, they had plenty of wind which put a little damper in the table decorations. Luckily, everyone moved quickly to keep everything together the best as possible.
The wedding ceremony was so touching. With the recent loss of a groomsmen, the bride and groom decided they would honor him by placing a photo of him on an easel at the front of the ceremony, in line with the groomsmen. His wife was a bridesmaid and she placed a rose down on the easel. The bride and groom's daughters looked super cute in their dresses with cowgirl boots. The ceremony was completed with a family prayer. At the end of the evening, you could really feel the magic in the air as the sun set behind the mountains and the newlyweds danced their first dance under a beautifully lit chandelier: I was in awe with this touching moment. Congratulations to the newylweds, Branden and Justine! Thank you for having me and my team capture your special day!
