Kim and Garin's Engagement Session- Auburn, CA.

After a short winter break, wedding season is quickly approaching. As I X'd out the days on the calendar, I could hardly wait for the arrival of Kim and Garin's engagement session. For one thing, it is always wonderful to visit with a friend from good ol' Truckee, my home town. As Kim and I were catching up and she was telling me the cute story about how she and Garin met, I thought about how lucky I am to be able to reconnect with an old friend on such an important day in her life. With her charming Garin by her side, bride-to-be Kim was glowing from head to toe.

The couple decided on the location for the shoot. As they are both law school students, they chose their favorite courthouse: the historic Placer County Courthouse in Auburn, CA. This location is absolutely a photographer's dream. The architecture of the courthouse and the surrounding buildings are amazing and inspirational. Across the street from the courthouse we spotted the cute Courthouse Coffee and noticed it had the perfect little patio for our shoot.

Congratulations again to the amazing couple, Kim and Garin. I am looking forward to photographing your Wedding Day! The entire engagement session was so much fun and I am super happy with how the photos turned out! Here are some of my favorites from the day.
