Megan, Justin & Jaelyn Family Portraits - Bridgeport Bridge, Nevada County CA.

It is hard to believe a year has gone by since the last time I photographed this amazing family. For that photo shoot, we chose the Honey Run Covered Bridge in Chico, CA. Due to my recent move, we decided to meet somewhere between Chico and Reno. The location I came up with was the Bridgeport Covered Bridge. What a perfect location for a photo session! The visitors center has a great loop with all sorts of fun backdrops to work with. We also had something special planned for Jaelyn's 2nd birthday photos: bubbles! I always enjoy the time I get to spend with this family. Here are my favorites from the session and thanks again to the family for meeting me half way!

Eddie & Paola - Romantic Engagement Session

Every time I pick up my camera and get to photograph a couple, I am reminded what True Love is. Eddie and Paola absolutely radiate true love and friendship and I am so lucky to get to photograph them during this amazing time in their lives.

Both Eddie and Paola have very busy lives. So, what I loved most about this engagement photo session was spending the afternoon with them at a pace slower than their every day go-go-go lives. We Started our engagement session at 5-Mile in Bidwell Park but quickly loaded up into my car and made the drive to the New Clairvaux Vineyard. A beautiful winery and abbey, it is located in the small town of Vina, just outside of Chico, CA, and I just LOVE photographing here. Plus, I was excited because Eddie and Paola had never been to the winery so I got to share this beautiful gem with them. Here are some of my favorite images from this romantic engagement session:

Michelle & Nicholas - Chico, CA Engagement Session

Michelle & Nicholas are such a cute and fun couple. I knew from the beginning I was going to enjoy photographing these two. Up for anything, we decided the best location for them would be Chico State since that is where the couple met, and the almond orchard blossoms were blooming so we new we wanted to find an orchard to photograph.

As a wedding photographer, I must say I am so lucky to get some truly awesome couples to work with and Michelle & Nicholas are on the top of that list. They are so comfortable with each other and the camera loved them.
